These rangers are scored on measurable conservation metrics such as sightings, diversity of individuals seen, distance walked, and days spent in the field. The incentives encourage consistent, high-quality patrol effort while directly supporting ranger livelihoods. Certificates are issued/minted only when verified data meets trusted thresholds. All information is traceable, auditable, and digitally secured via blockchain through the Wadappt platform, ensuring full transparency and accountability.
